Suzanne Temple"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire" (W.B. Yeats).

Welcome to my website!  I am Suzanne Temple, Language Arts teacher at Henry Sibley High School.  I have been teaching at Sibley since the spring of 2007. However, I have been a part of District 197 since the late 1980's, when I began here as a kindergartener!

After graduating from Sibley, I went to Gustavus Adolphus College, where I graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Spanish.  I then continued my education at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, where I earned my teaching license and a M. Ed. degree.

I teach 12th grade Composition and Literature, 11th grade AVID, and 10th grade Advanced American Literature.

I am passionate about teaching, literature, writing, language, and my students. Please feel free to explore my webspace!
