Summer School 2019
Summer school report cards will be available the week of July 8 on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Report cards will not be mailed home.  If you have any questions please contact the summer school office at 651-403-7309.

 Henry Sibley Summer School will be offered June 12 - July 2, 2019. Summer school will be held at Heritage E-STEM Magnet School due to construction. Schedules will be mailed home to students the week of June 3.

Transportation is only available before and after the school day. There is no transportation during the middle of the day. Students who are only enrolled in one class will need to provide their own transportation for one way.

The Henry Sibley Summer School Program is only available to current students or residents of District 197. 
CREDIT RECOVERY
(For students in grades 9-12 in 2018-19) 
  FRESH START
(For students in grade 8 in 2018-19) 
Henry Sibley students may register for one or two classes, but no more than one class per subject area. Each class equals a semester-worth of credit. Students must complete the class and receive a passing grade to receive credit.

Anyone who still needs to enroll in summer school should come to Henry Sibley by 7:45 a.m. on June 12 to check the availability of classes.

Daily Credit Recovery Schedule:
   Period 1:     8 - 10:30 a.m.
   Break:        10:30 - 10:45 a.m.
   Period 2:     10:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.

NOTE: Anyone who has signed up for Credit Recovery on June 3 or later will want to contact the district's Transportation Office to confirm busing. Also, please show up by 7:45 a.m. on the first day, June 12. You will receive your schedule at that time if you registered on June 3 or later.
  Fresh Start helps incoming 9th grade students stay on track so they're prepared to succeed in high school. The program focuses on math, reading, writing, and career and college readiness. Students who complete Fresh Start will earn 1.0 elective credit.

Daily Fresh Start Schedule:
   Period 1:     8:05 - 9:15 a.m.
   Period 2:     9:15 - 10:30 a.m.
   Break:        10:30 - 10:50 a.m.
   Period 3:     10:50 a.m. - 12:05 p.m.
   Period 4:     12:05 - 1:15 p.m.

















  

STUDENT BEHAVIOR AND ATTENDANCE EXPECTATIONS  

1. Students are expected to attend summer school every day. Please keep this in mind when scheduling summer activities. Students who miss three class periods will be dropped from their course and will not earn credit. 

2. The summer school program follows the rules and expectations set forth in the Henry Sibley Student Handbook. Student behavior that violates the rules and expectations of Henry Sibley High School could result in removal from summer school. 


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Breakfast and lunch will be available and served from our cafeteria.
Busing information will be available the week of May 27. There is no cost for bus transportation.
