Lynaea Hintz is enjoying her last day in Child Nutrition today after almost 29 years of service.  Congratulations, Lynaea, and thank you for not only providing meals every day but a warm smile to go along with it.  We all wish you the best in your retirement.

Seniors, if you want to be sure that your senior photo will be  included in this year's yearbook, you must check the list posted outside Skov's room, A117.  If your name does not appear on that list, yearbook does not have a senior picture of you to put in the yearbook.  If you have questions, talk to Skov before school, after school or during 5th period. 

Do you have any cool talents? Then come audition for the GOFA talent Show! Auditions will be Tuesday, January 29th and Wednesday, January 30th after school in the music wing. Sign ups will be in the activities office. See your email for more information! Hope to see you there! We can't wait for you to knock our socks off!  

Come out tonight and support your boys basketball teams as they host Hastings. The varsity game is at 7 and there will be raffles for Warrior basketball gear, and Cane's gift baskets. 

Today’s Ski Club trip to Afton Alps is cancelled because of the weather.  The next trip is February 15th.  If you have questions, talk to Mr. Skov. 

Last night Sibley Gymnastics had victorious meet against Hastings! The girls had a team score of 123.45. Senior Katy VanNatta took 1st place on Vault and Bars. Senior Kaiulani Taylor took 2nd on Vault and Floor. Freshman Kira Dupaul took 1st on Beam, Floor and All-Around. She also took 3rd on Vault and Bars. Freshman Haley Redding took 3rd on Floor. The girls had a great night. Come support the team next Thursday at South St. Paul!

Attention all students and staff.  February 4th through the 8th is Livegreen Week.  Stay tuned for a schedule of activities during lunches all during the week.  Keep an eye out for the Livegreen Week survey that will be in your email.  Results of the survey will be shared during the week at all Lunches.

Ms. Brennan’s 5th hour class needs to report to class right away.  We will eat B lunch.

The next Ski Club trip to Afton Alps is Friday, January 25.  On-line registration closes the morning of Wednesday, January 23.  Talk to Skov if you have questions.

Come out and support all of your boys basketball teams Friday night at home against South Saint Paul. The varsity boys will also be in action on Monday at the Martin Luther King Junior Classic at Totino Grace. Monday's game starts at 4:30.

Come for dinner or dessert at Culver's on Tuesday, January 22nd between 5p - 7p and meet the Sibley Robotics team and their award-winning competition robot.  What could be better than a ButterBurger and custard on the last night of this upcoming mini winter break? A portion of Culver’s sales during that time (walk-in or drive-in) will be donated to the team. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Wind Ensemble band students Ashley Carlson, Angela Cotton, Matt Lao and Alexa Lutz-Chase. These musicians have been chosen to participate in the Mankato State University Honor Band on Friday, January 18. Best of luck to all four of you!

Congratulations to the girls jv and varsity basketball teams! Both teams battled hard and pulled off a strong second half to take the victory over Tartan. Next up for the girls is rival South St. Paul on Friday!

Congratulations to our Wind Ensemble students who have been named to All-Conference Band: Peter McKenzie, , Anne Monroe, Quinn Munson, Miguel O’Neill, Alonso Reyes, Kaylee Robrahn, Madisyn Vanasse and Autumn Whipps. These fine musicians, along with the names read on Friday, will be performing at 7pm tonight at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi.

Congratulations to the Sibley Choir members that were selected for All-Conference honor choir. Good luck to Jessi Norblom, Evan Wilson, Logan Finkel, Blake Krisko, Sonja Hanson, Madi Jochum, Joe Ayd, Patrick Ernst, and Cameron Schmeling on their performance tonight. 

The Boys basketball teams pulled off a program sweep on Friday night at Hill Murray with all 4 levels picking up wins. The varsity won their 2nd in a row 82-57 behind a double-double from Malik Spearman and swarming team defense. The boys are back in action at home on Friday against South St. Paul.

Attention all boys interested in playing volleyball this spring, there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. in the library.  Can't make the meeting, see Mrs. Naughton for details.

Good morning Students.  It is an important week ahead.  Please make sure you are well rested and take time to be looking over your review notes in preparation for finals.  Good luck this week!  You will do awesome.

Congratulations to our Wind Ensemble students who have been named to All-Conference Band: Daniel Bolin, Ashley Carlson, Derek Dean, Chris Figuerora, Jaymee Gulsvig, Nayana Gurung, Sawyer Inserra, Aiden Jacobs, Alexa Lutz-Chase, Jessica McAllister and Devin McIntyre.  Stay tuned, more names to be read on Monday.

The Warrior Swim and Dive team lost to St. Thomas last might. Despite the loss, Zak Lao won the diving event, while Carl Strohoffer won the 100-yard breaststroke. The boys compete again on Saturday at the Packer Invitational.

The Gymnastics Team had a great night last night at an away meet against Simley High School. The girls had a season high score of 121.85. Kira Dupaul took 1st place all around, and placed first on Beam and Floor. Haley Redding took 2nd place all around, and 3rd on Bars. Katy VanNatta took 1st place on Vault and Bars. Kaiulani took 3rd on Vault. Marin Awada took 3rd on Floor and Beam. The girls had a terrific night! Come support them next Saturday January 19th at 11am as they host an invitational with 6 other teams!

Come support your girls hockey team, a.k.a. the Riveteers as they take on SSP tonight at 5 and 7 at South St Paul. 

It was an intense night at South St. Paul last night. The Warrior boys hockey team beat our rival, SSP, 3-2 in overtime with goals from Joey Shirk, Mick Greeley, and Kaidden O’Connor. Way to go Warriors!

Congrats to the BPA teams that competed in regionals yesterday. Both teams impressed the judges and made it to state!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats to Brad Alton, Dan Zuckerman, Logan Woods, Caden Christiansen, Tommy Buell, and Lily Stringer.

Attention Students:

Just a reminder that all students must leave the building by 3:15 PM everyday.  Only students directly supervised in a classroom or practice area by a teacher or coach are allowed to stay.  This means all students must be in a classroom, library, gym or fitness center and not the hallways.  Thank you for your cooperation in keeping Sibley a safe and orderly learning environment.  Thank you, the Admin Team.
