Attention students.  If you are using your locker at school, it MUST have a lock on it.  Starting FRIDAY, all lockers without locks will be emptied and zip-tied shut for security purposes.  If you need a lock, you can purchase one at the front office for $5 or you are welcome to bring one from home.  Locks found on unassigned lockers will be cut off. Any Sophomores and Juniors interested in taking the PSAT test, you can sign up in guidance. The cost is $16 and the deadline to sign up is October 3rd. 

Congratulations to the boys soccer team for their 2-1 victory in overtime over Tartan. Goals scored by Brennan Bergstrom in the first half and Oliver McEllistrem in overtime with an assist from Ben Church. Come out to Matson field on saturday at 3 to support them versus section opponent Rosemount.

Girls varsity soccer won 3-0 vs Tartan with Emily Hinze scoring 2 and Natalie Parnell with 1.  Girls JV soccer won 2-0 vs Tartan.  Elyssa Hinze and Eleanor Donahue scoring.

Are you interested in helping with this year's student Health Fair- how about the Mock Car Crash event. There are many school events being planned for this coming year.  Plan on joining SADD and help make a difference in our school. SADD meets every Thursday in room 341 from 3:10-3:45 pm

The Sibley Robotics Team will be holding student interest meetings on Thursday the 13th at 7:30am and next Tuesday Sept 18 at 6:30pm in Room E113 in the Tech Ed Department. No experience necessary, just an interest in building great things. Stop by and grab a snack and learn more!

Today marks 17 years since the tragic events that changed our country in many ways.  Today we remember the lives lost, the selfless heroes who rose up and faced the challenges with bravery, and the families and citizens forever changed by those senseless acts of violence.  Please take the time today to reflect on the events with an eye on compassion, honor and service towards our country, our service men and women and first responders who sacrifice every day to keep our country safe.

Tonight is the 7th annual Warrior Rally! The entire school district community is invited to enjoy great food, music and other fun activities from 5-7 p.m. at Heritage E-STEM Magnet School before watching the Henry Sibley football game at Matson Field.

Attention all Upward Bound students. The first day of Upward Bound will be Monday September 10 in Warrior Hall from 3-5. For those of you who consider yourself a serious student and are interested in the program, we are a free college prep program that offers ACT and academic help, volunteering opportunities, fun trips, and you get paid. Please pick up an application in the counselors office, fill it out, and bring it to Tony Harsh in Warrior Hall on Mondays or Wednesdays at 3. Or you can leave it with your counselor. But hurry, as spots are filling up.

Attention Drivers Ed kids:  There is a slight change to the schedule next week. Class starts on Monday September 10th at 3:15 in room B211.

Congratulations to the boy's JV soccer team on their hard earned 3-1 home victory over South St. Paul on Thursday.  Two warrior goals were scored on corner kicks by Keenan Anderson and Giovanni Cortina.  Joe Booth sealed the victory, speeding past the defense and hitting the back of the net.

Girls varsity tied SSP last night 0-0.  Thank you to the fans who should up and provided great support.

Congrats to the warrior boys soccer team who beat south Saint Paul 1-0 from a header goal by ben church assisted by oliver McEllistrem. Way to go, Warriors! 

Tonight is a home football game at Matson Field.   We want to encourage you all to come and show your great Warrior Pride at the game.  Cheer loud, have fun, and make us all proud! Please remember that when attending football games, there are no outside beverages allowed into the stadium and there are no backpacks allowed into the stadium. We appreciate your cooperation and finish the first week of school off strong!

Students who purchased a sports pass...please use the passgate and your name will be on a list to get in to the game.

TriDistrict is seeking a senior student with strong leadership skills who is interested in serving on the TriDistrict Community Education Advisory Council. Participation on this council is a great leadership and community engagement experience to add to college applications. Tomorrow during the break between finals there will be sports/activity meetings happening at that time.  Check the main office and activities office window for locations.  Boys soccer – note- tomorrow’s meeting is for anyone who did not make the meeting last night.

Attention Link Leaders- The Link "Play Day" is tomorrow at 12:30! We will meet in the cafeteria, there will be lunch available but please being your own water bottle. You might also want a pair of sunglasses as we will be going outside. 

The boys PE and Athletic locker rooms need to be cleared out by 12:00pm Thursday, June 7.  Any remaining locks will be cut and all content removed!

Twin Cities Orthopedics will be offering free sports qualifying physicals throughout the summer.  Check the banner hanging in the locker rooms, nurses office or outside the activities office for dates and locations.  Again, these are free sports-qualifying exams.

Attention all 10th and invited 9th grade baseball players. We have a VFW game today after school at 4:00 at the varsity field. Be up to the field by 3:20.

On July 16-19 the Tony Sanneh Foundation will be providing 2-2hour soccer camps for elementary students this summer. During that week we are looking for 30 volunteers from 8am-12pm. Volunteers will assist the Sanneh Foundation coaches in running skill stations. Each volunteer will receive a ticket to the July 22 Minnesota United soccer game against the LA Football Club.
