Boosters

General information:

The Henry Sibley Booster club is an all-volunteer organization. A booster club is defined as an organization that is formed to help support the efforts of a sports team, academic club, or social activity in a collective manner.  Support is shown in many ways, including volunteering time, talents, or funds to better enhance the team or organization's performance.  Examples include organizing team meals, printing promotional items, raising or donating funds, assisting coaches and staff with fundraising activities, coaches rooms for home events, and end of the year banquets.

Banquets:

The head coach/adviser is responsible for all facets of the end of-season awards banquet. The head coach may delegate these responsibilities to the booster club; however, the program and the agenda must be approved by the head coach/advisory.    

The awards given out at the banquet are the sole responsibility of the head coach/adviser.  “Gag” or student sponsored awards shall be approved in advance by the head coach/adviser.

Financial:

All money raised through efforts of the students of district 197 shall be given to activities office at the completion of the fundraiser and will be deposited into the schools activity account. The coaches and Athletic director will then use those funds to appropriate for items to further the success of the organization. Checks are to be made out to Henry Sibley Wrestling C/O Mark Simmonds. All items purchased will become the property of District 197 and the wrestling team.
